This is the season where we Christians celebrate thew feast days of All Saints on November 1st and All Souls on November 2nd.

All Saints venerate all those who are with God whether they have been canonised officially by the Church or whether they simply lived a good life and are with God.

All Souls Day is when we venrate and pary for those who have dies and whom we decide to pray for – friends or relatives.

This All Saints Day, St. John Henry Newman was declared a Doctor of the Church by the Pope. Newman was canonised by Pope Francis.

Newman was a sewnior in tjhe Church of England and as he studied he came to the conclusion that only the Church of Rome was the correct Church. and he converted to the Catholic Church.

I submit that it is time for the Church of England to do the same and unite with the Catholic Church.

The Church of England has adopted popular beliefs as if Christian theology was a democracy instead of a belief that handed down by the leaders of the Church since the time of Christ.

This is not to say that the Church did not go through terrible times in the past – selling indulgences which led to the Reformation, the Inquisition and several corrupt or irreligiouus Popes, but we have moved on and we are still here since the death of our founder, Jesus Christ.

The presence of King Charles III praying with the Pope in the Sistine Chapel recently is a good sign.

Lets us hope that Christians can come together and not practice attacks against fellow Christians.

There is one Christ and we should worship him in a united way as we have done over 2,000 years.
