Speak up!

Some people say that celebrities (I hate that word) or famous people should not speak up about politics. I disagree.

I think everone who disagrees with Trump and his policies should speak up loudly likle Meryl Streep and Billie Eilish.

Remember what Martin Niemöller in Nazi Germany wrote:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

The US in 2026 can be equated very well with Nazi Germany.
