The amazing Shohei Ohtani – Baseball player extraordinaire

Shohei Ohtani is a Japanese baseball player playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In Baseball you have specialised players who are hitters and others that are pitchers. Amazingly, Ohtani excels at both skills which is unique.

In Game 4 against the Milwaukee Brewers he struck out 10 players in 6 innings, which means his pitching was un-hitable and then he hit 3 home runs as a batter.

To English people this would be the equivalent of taking 20 wickets and hitting a century or more in the same match.

As a result the Dodgers advance to the World Series to face either the Toronto Blue Jays or the Seattle Mariners.
