For the past couple of months I have examined the tech that is available online and I have come to conclusions.
I had been an Apple user for many years and have used a Mac, an iPhone, an IPad, an Apple Watch, HomePod Minis, Apple TV etc.
I was interested in trying out an Android phone to see what it is all about so I purchasede a cheap Chinese phone – a Xiaomi POCO C85 for about £100. Never having use Andoid it was a challenge.
Email and messaging were fine. However, whenever I saw a QR code I would point the camera at it and got no reaction at all. I missed my photo library at Apple as well as my Music library.
The fact was that there were too many things that I had to learn which iOS does automatically.
So I have abandoned my venture with Android and am now using an iPhone and iPad again.
The lesson learned is that Apple offers a solution made by a single company and hence it all gells together very smoothly.
I will always recommend Apple devices over Android and Windows devices. There is a big community of websites and blogs about Apple as I’m sure thet are about Android and Windows.
I have watched Windows Weekly on the Twit platform and that is enough to put me off using Windows as the talk is so often negative about Windows especially from Paul Thurrott who promotes Windows – see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuH0BiWeG3U&t=2183s
There are some Apple related websites that I can recommend:
https://macmost.com/ – learning about how the different operating systems work (macO S, iOS, iPadOS, Watch OS, TV OS
